How to Read Your CO₂ Regulator
- A full tank is between 700 & 800 PSI. Don't change until the tank is empty.
- A tank is not empty until the the pressure is at "0".
When to order CO₂
- If you have 2 tanks, place a new order as soon as the first tank is empty.
- Do not wait until all tanks are empty. Order 7-10 business days in advance.
How to Replace Your CO₂ Cylinder
Swapping out your cylinder is simple when you know how. Follow these Step-by-step instructions to help you replace your cylinders safely and efficiently.
- Turn the tank valve off by turning the valve to the right.
- Loosen coupling nut using Cylinder Wrench until its loose enough to continue loostening with your fingers. Continue until you can disconnect tank from the CO2 Regulator
- Inspect the nylon washer inside the coupling nut. If damaged, replace.
- Connect new tank to regulator. Start by tightening with your fingers and then use the cylinder wrench to complete tightening. Don't over tighten.
- Once connected, loosen tank valve by turning it the left to to allow flow of gas.
NOTE: Made sure nylon washers aren't doubled up between cylinder and regulator. If you need a Cylinder Wrench or Nylon Washer, please contact your Caribou store manager. They have additional supplies on hand.
