 How to Read Your CO₂ Regulator

  1. A full tank is between 700 & 800 PSI. Don't change until the tank is empty.
  2. A tank is not empty until the the pressure is at "0".

 

 

When to order CO₂

  1. If you have 2 tanks, place a new order as soon as the first tank is empty.
  2. Do not wait until all tanks are empty. Order 7-10 business days in advance.

 How to Replace Your CO₂ Cylinder

Swapping out your cylinder is simple when you know how. Follow these Step-by-step instructions to help you replace your cylinders safely and efficiently.

  1. Turn the tank valve off by turning the valve to the right.
  2. Loosen coupling nut using Cylinder Wrench until its loose enough to continue loostening with your fingers. Continue until you can disconnect tank from the CO2 Regulator
  3. Inspect the nylon washer inside the coupling nut. If damaged, replace.
  4. Connect new tank to regulator. Start by tightening with your fingers and then use the cylinder wrench to complete tightening. Don't over tighten.
  5. Once connected, loosen tank valve by turning it the left to to allow flow of gas.

 

NOTE: Made sure nylon washers aren't doubled up between cylinder and regulator. If you need a Cylinder Wrench or Nylon Washer, please contact your Caribou store manager. They have additional supplies on hand.
