Position Overview
- Deliver a full variety of Bev-Carb gases and/or other products to customers.
- Replenish Bulk tanks and cylinder gas of all sizes at customers.
- Customer tanks may be located indoors or outdoors.
- Follow approved procedures for safe handling and delivery of product.
- Operate motor vehicle to transport Hazardous Material and equipment safely. Drive carefully and obey all traffic laws.
- Complete pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
- Record and maintain accurate delivery paperwork on a daily basis.
- Handle emergency situations as they arise professionally and in accordance with appropriate protocol.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance on vehicles and inform supervisor as appropriate for other maintenance needed for vehicles.
- Take vehicles to garage for maintenance and repairs as scheduled.
- Perform emergency repairs to vehicles on the road or get assistance as appropriate.
- Identify and correct all unsafe conditions and practices and communicate actions to appropriate individuals.
- Conduct site evaluations to confirm suitability for installation of Bulk Gas Systems.
- Coordinate installation plan for Central McGowan and customers.
- Perform installation of beverage equipment per customer request/specifications.
- Collaborate with sales team to properly quote installation and order/organize required materials/equipment.
- Assist in the production of dry ice products.
- Fill, move and prepare dry ice totes for delivery.
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Class B CDL, Required
- Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements Required (or willingness to obtain)
- 2+ years of relevant preferred.
- Industry experience, preferred.

- Founded in 1965 with the merger of McGowan Welding Supply in Little Falls, MN (est. 1947) and Central Welding Supply, a small supplier of equipment and gases in St. Cloud, MN.
- Since 2011, we’ve grown from a 55-person, 2-location welding supply company to a nearly 140-person, 8-location, diversified business we are today.
- In 2015, expanded to include custom automation and robotics, making us one of the only local distributors who is also an integrator.
- In 2019, acquired Jason’s Beverage Carbonation Company, another successful family-owned CO2 distributor in St. Paul, MN, expanding our distribution area to include customers in Minnesota and parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa.
- In 2021, acquired Fessler Carbonic Gas Company in Des Moines, IA, expanding our CO2 footprint to all of Iowa; and Metro Welding Supply in Minneapolis, MN to better serve customers the Minneapolis metro area and most recently Preferred Welder Sales out of Mankato expanding our Southern MN footprint.
